Cookie Policy

How Buddy uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies — and the choices you have.

01Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Plaxonic IT Services ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use Buddy ("Platform", "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

02What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related technologies such as browser local storage, which serve similar purposes.

03Types of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly Necessary: Required to run the Platform — for example, keeping you signed in, securing your session, and remembering your workspace. The Service cannot function without these.
  • Functional & Preference: Remember choices such as your selected brand, language, and interface settings so you don't have to set them each visit.
  • First-Party Analytics: Help us understand aggregate, anonymized usage — which features are used and where errors occur — so we can improve Buddy.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell any data collected through cookies.

04Local Storage & Similar Technologies

Buddy uses browser local storage to hold authentication tokens (JWT) and lightweight session state. This keeps you securely signed in and improves performance. This data stays on your device and is not shared with advertisers.

05Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by trusted providers that power parts of the Service:

  • Stripe: Payment processing and fraud prevention during checkout and billing.
  • Hosting & CDN: Delivering the Platform reliably and securely, including load balancing and abuse prevention.

These providers process cookie data under their own privacy and cookie policies.

06Managing Cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies or clearing local storage will sign you out and may prevent core features of Buddy from working.

07Do Not Track

Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to “Do Not Track” signals, we do not currently respond to them. We do, however, limit our use of cookies to what is necessary to run and improve the Service.

08Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology or the law. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
